The Big Swan Lake Common Interest Community (CIC) is a former campground located in Todd County, MN between Long Prairie and Grey Eagle on the northwest shore of Big Swan Lake. There are 39 lots in the association owned by 33 different families, with dwellings consisting of cabins, RVs, park model homes or campers. Each owner pays an annual association fee per lot that includes half of a dock slip, lawn care, and access to all common ground areas like the community center, playground, beach, and private boat landing. The owners and elected board members meet twice per year – once in May and once in September – to discuss all business dealings in and around the campground. The campground is generally open from around May 1st of each year until around October 1st when the water is completely shut off for the winter.
